Beneath the Bark Chainsaw Carvings

Beneath the Bark Chainsaw Carvings specializes in large-scale signature sculpture, custom chainsaw art, and live carving experiences created for destinations, sporting venues, resorts, entertainment properties, communities, corporations, and special events.

Led by award-winning chainsaw artist Corey Worden, Beneath the Bark combines more than 30 years of artistic experience with the ability to take ambitious ideas from concept to completion. Each project is designed individually to reflect the story, character, history, brand, or environment of the place for which it was created.

Our work ranges from one-of-a-kind commissioned sculptures to large-scale destination pieces and immersive live carving activations that give guests the opportunity to watch the artwork come to life.

Our latest large-scale signature project, The Belmont Breakthrough, was created for the reopening of Belmont Park in New York in collaboration with Monumental Woodworks, LLC. The project demonstrates what is possible when sculpture, storytelling, craftsmanship, and a major destination come together.

Behind every Beneath the Bark project is more than the carving itself. We understand the planning required to successfully execute large-scale commissions—including concept development, client coordination, scheduling, logistics, on-site operations, installation, and live-event production.

Whether the vision is a dramatic centerpiece for a destination, a signature sculpture that becomes part of a property's identity, or a live carving experience that gives guests something unforgettable to watch and share, our goal is the same:

Create something people stop for. Photograph. Talk about. And remember.
